Director of Asset Management
As director of asset management at Lloyd Jones Capital, Scott Hysler is responsible for managing the growing senior housing portfolio while working with the firm’s investment teams.
Scott began his senior housing career after retiring from twenty-two years in the United States Navy. For the past fifteen years, Scott has been focused on the senior housing industry, starting with Pulte Homes and Del Webb. There, he was involved in the establishment of Del Webb’s first active adult community on the East Coast. The company then transferred him to Colorado to facilitate the development and opening of a new 3,700- home, 2,400-acre community. Later, during the housing downturn, Scott transitioned to senior housing management as vice president of senior housing with the largest manager of residential communities in North America.
In addition to senior housing development and management, Scott’s career includes extensive senior housing operations, administration, finance, and marketing. He has served on various industry boards, including Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Denver, Orange County Council on Aging, Builder Industry Association (BIA) for Southern California and was vice president of 50+ Housing Council of California. He holds a BS in professional aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
