Tabitha Scott

Director of Investments

Tabitha serves as Director of Investments for Tennessee. She is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and acquiring multifamily and senior housing investment properties.

Tabitha most recently served 7 years as SVP with Balfour Beatty Investments, a global infrastructure investment company generating $16 billion. Her role included developing strategic markets, identifying multifamily acquisitions, creating renewable power assets, and managing energy efficiency.

Tabitha also served 4 years at Lend Lease as SVP responsible for energy management for over 40,000 U.S. homes and overseeing 50-year asset management operating plans at several large military housing communities.  She also developed the award-winning SYNERGY resident energy-savings program that was included in the Mayoral Climate Change Handbook.

Previously, as CEO of Military Assistance Company, Tabitha created the first private sector technology link to Department of Defense payroll systems. She served as a practitioner faculty adviser at Lipscomb University and on the Presidential Climate Action Committee.

Tabitha holds a BS in finance from the University of Louisville, an MBA from Fairfield University, and a Masters in Bank Management from CBA’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at University of Virginia. Tabitha is a Certified Energy Manager and Certified Demand Side Manager, as designated by the Association of Energy Engineers.
